1972 Seafarer MKI 31 Sloop

Mystery Machine was designed by Tripp and Rhodes and has the classic duckbill stern. She was named collectively by my three boys after Scooby Doo's psychedelic van.

The Seafarer 31 is slooped rigged, fin keel, deck stepped mast with a skeg mounted rudder. Her hull is solid hand layed fiberglass with alternate layers of mat and woven roving. Her interior offers port and starboard settee's with drop leaf table, head forward with hanging locker opposite and V-berth. Galley located at companionway including stove, sink and icebox. Her auxiliary power is a 9.8hp four stroke outboard tucked away in "Insta-tilt" compartment in the stearn.
